Grew up in the woods of Pennsylvania, like, farmland and actual woods. Ended up in New York City studying film and dramatic arts because something in me needed more noise, more color, more everything.

Then I found a skateboard. And honestly? That changed my whole life.

That board took me everywhere. All over the city, around the globe, through Europe. I remember standing in Spain just staring at the leather work in a tiny shop thinking, this is what it feels like when someone actually cares about what they make. That stuck with me.

Now I'm out in Colorado. Mom. Creator. Adult-child. Still a little feral. Mountains out my window and the sound of the river, and somehow I ended up here building a fashion brand instead of the boot line I originally planned, because that's just how my life goes.

Barn Sour is all of it thrown together. Brooklyn grit. Skate culture. Western landscape. Performance. Messy motherhood. That trip through Iberia. The messy beautiful collision of everywhere I've been and everything I've loved.

Urban street with a western flare. For my people who own their story, even the chaotic parts. That’s it. -mb, founder, maker of human beings, creator
